Shortly after the death of the Florentine composer (1916-1976), the Valentino Bucchi Musical Association, after which it is named, was founded in Rome.

Valentino Bucchi Prize

The Association first and then the Foundation organize the Valentino Bucchi Prize annually in Rome, international performance and composition competitions for young musicians.

Recognition from the Valentino Bucchi Foundation

The Valentino Bucchi Foundation is recognized by Decree of the President of the Republic of 17 April 1990 and constitutes a direct emanation of the Valentino Bucchi Musical Association.
