The Association first and then the Foundation organize the Valentino Bucchi Prize annually in Rome, international performance and composition competitions for young musicians.
The Valentino Bucchi Foundation is recognized by Decree of the President of the Republic of 17 April 1990 and constitutes a direct emanation of the Valentino Bucchi Musical Association.
35 concluded editions of the Valentino Bucchi Prize linked to a series of initiatives that involve the fields of art, culture, information, publishing, and education.
In 2013, the publication of the winning works of the first prize in the international composition competitions includes a catalogue of approximately 50 titles.
